I was at this cemetery to paint outside just after Memorial Day. This was the veteran’s section. Having an uncle who died in war, a father who served in the military for 20 years, and four other uncles who served during WWII and now a son in the Navy, there was a lot to think about that day as I walked around and got the view I wanted. There is deep appreciation.
